Design of an 8,000 Square Foot Internet marketing firm in the downtown
area of Washington, DC. The design incorporates enclosed and open offices
that allow the client flexibility. The space allows for current use
as well as future expansion of the office. Throughout the office, informal
seating arrangements have been created for the generation of ideas.
These spaces were also created as decompression spaces to relieve employees
from the fast pace work environment.
Ignition Strategic Communications

Design of a 3,500 Square Feet interior office space for a strategic
communications and media relations firm. The space was designed to communicate
the firms’ high tech image while creating a work environment conducive
to maximizing employee output. The use of vibrant colors with cool metal
tones creates the energetic image desired by he client.
Stark Carpet Showroom

Washington, DC
Design of a 9,000 Square Feet carpet and fabric showroom located on
the 7th floor of the Washington Design Center. The design complexity
incorporates the link of two separate display areas along parallel paths,
culminating at three large intersecting daylit rug display rooms. Faux
finished cornice and base creates the linear datum that unifies the
separate spaces to a contiguous showroom.
Rock Spring Fitness Center

Design of a 3,500 Square Feet Fitness Center for the tenants of Rock
Spring Plaza. This spatial experience is an amalgam of intersecting
volumes and planes marking entry, passage, and arrival. Bright colors
and curvilinear forms create an informal, playful environment. The juxtaposition
of intricate monochromatic fitness equipment and sculptural bright colored
walls fulfills the clients desire for a dynamic and energetic fitness
center.
